The Sniper Rifle.
The Sniper Rifle is a single-shot weapon that serves as the BLADE configuration of choice for players with good aim (along with the Anti-Armor Pistol). It has a purple outline and whitish colour scheme in-game.
Overview[]
When aiming the weapon, Sam automatically scopes in, greatly reducing the player's peripheral vision. The scope has a 5x and 10x zoom level.
Just like the Anti-Armor Pistol, the Sniper Rifle is very powerful and possesses deadly accuracy. However, reloading after every shot takes some time, and the scoped-in view can become annoying should a player decide to change focus. Its range, though, is unmatched, giving the player a chance to neutralize incoming targets much earlier.
After three upgrades, a bipod is attached, after six, the scope is slightly modified, and when fully upgraded, a muzzle brake is added to the barrel.
Its melee attack is a roundhouse kick with a wide area of effect.
