The Anti-Armor Pistol is one of the BLADE modes for the ARS, and is part of the Tri-Weapon pack DLC, which is included for free in the PC version. It has a striking blue outline when seen in the environment.
It is a weapon that deals a great amount of damage, capable of one-shotting Gorgies without needing to aim for the head, as well as being able to change aiming zoom levels for mid-range sniping. However. it has a slow rate of fire as well as a low reserve ammo capacity, which is not helped by the weapon being quite rare outside of a handful of locations where it is guaranteed to appear.
After three upgrades, it gains a scope, after six, a rifle stock, and when fully upgraded, a longer barrel.
Its melee attack is identical to that of the Heavy Machine Gun, being a kick followed by a backflip, and during said backflip AR mode can be activated.\
Strategies: The best way to maximize your use with the AAP is to use upgrade chips from fallen enemies. Using this method, you should be able to refill your ammo regularly and fully upgrade the AAP by the time you reach the middle of the game.
